All About Paradise

Paradise is a 1941 North American AT-6A Texan. It was accepted by the U.S. Army Air Corps in December of 1941 and spent time in Dothan, Craig Field in Selma, and Montgomery until the end of the war when it was surplused.

Paradise is based at the University of the South Airport, KUOS, Sewanee, Tennessee. It is painted in the colors of the 78th Fighter Group, Duxford, England. It represents the AT-6 the 78th had assigned to it for training, staff transportation and press rides.

Paradise has a top speed of 240 mph and has about 3 hours of fuel capacity at cruise speed.

My aerobatic show runs about ten minutes and is flown to big band music popular during World War Two. My show is dedicated to all the Veterans and to all current Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who made and continue to make our freedom possible.
